INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY UNIT
To provide expertise and services on application of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
This Unit will perform the following activities:-
(i) Develop and coordinate Integrated Management Information System for the Authority;
(ii) Monitor, review and facilitate implementation of ICT and e-Government policy;
(iii) Maintain hardware and software for the Authority;
(iv) Coordinate and advise on procurement of quality software and hardware for the Authority;
(v) Establish and coordinate use of electronic mail communications;
(vi) Establish and maintain Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN);
(vii) Develop and maintain Authority's web-portal;
(viii) Develop, maintain standards software, hardware and security of the system;
Carry out studies and propose areas of using Information Communication
Technology (ICT) as an instrument to improve service delivery to and by
the Authority; and
(x) Initiate and facilitate training for proper use of the system.
