Course Introduction
The objective of this course is to provide employees and employers in construction industry to the practical guidance on a legal, administrative, technical and educational framework for safety and health in construction.
Course Objectives
·Preventing accidents and diseases and harmful effects on the health of workers arising from employment in construction;
·Ensuring appropriate design and implementation of construction projects; providing means of analyzing from the point of view of safety, health and working conditions, construction processes, activities, technologies and operations, and of taking appropriate measures of planning, control and enforcement.

At the end of the course, participants will understand
· Identification of Hazards in construction industry including in scaffolding, demolition, excavation, ergonomics, physical hazards associated, electrical etc
· Eliminating or Controlling the Hazards in construction
· Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment
· Laws and regulations on building and works
· safety of heavy equipment.
Course Duration
The course duration is 4 days, including discussions, assignments and site visit.
Course Fee
The course fee is TSh 300,000/= per participant which will cover tuition fee, training materials /booklet, food and refreshment during the course.
Course Certification
An OSHA certificate will be issued after successful completion of the course.
